Once Entreno

“Once Entreno” is an app developed in partnership with “Divertifica” and “Centro de Tiflotecnología e Innovación de la ONCE”, which is an spanish organization founded by the government to aid people with any kind of disability. The game idea comes from designing a game for blind people due to the lack of such games.

The game is a mixture of several minigames that test the mental capacity of the user, making them do simple math operations, train their memory, or their hearing. In each minigame, there are several levels and an infinity mode. The player will also have daily challenges alongside a daily analysis of their performance and what they need to improve.

My role in the project

To develop the game, my role in the project was QA tester, so as a QA tester, I was in charge of:

  • Check if the mechanics inside the game worked as intended

  • Check if there was any bug in the builds

  • Check if the bugs reported were solved in the builds

Thanks to this project, I have learned how games should be designed for people with visual disabilities and how a professional QA department works. I also learned how the Talkback in mobile devices works, having to get used to it.
